Cuba is
the largest island in the Caribbean. The average temperature is 25
degrees C, making it an agreeable destination to visit most of the
year. During the rainy season (May to October), temperatures are
substantially higher and you may encounter the occasional heavy shower.
For beach lovers, Cuba is an ideal destination all year round.
November to April are the best months for getting around and
seeing more of
the island – there is less rain and temperatures are more moderate.
Cuba is a safe destination, especially in comparison to other Latin-American
countries. Crime rates are low and the police force is in full operation
all over the country.
Local time is five hours earlier than GMT.
There are no compulsory vaccinations for Cuba but you are advised
to check with your local physician for any other health recommendations.
Your passport must be valid for at least a further six months after
your departure from Cuba.
