Cuban music like Son, Rumba, Mambo, Chachacha, Bolero, Guaracha,
Mozambique, Pilon, Dengue a caballo and Mosancha. But that's not
all. We also cater for African music like bembé, uaguanco,
yambu, colombia, conga or afro. Last but certainly not least, we
also teach Latin-American music like merengue, cumbia, bomba, puertorriquena,
bossa nova and samba
• Dancing workshops
Cuba has an outstanding dancing culture. Best-known is the salsa,
but there are many others like the rumba, chachachá, mambo,
rueda de casino and son.
Workshops can be organised for groups and for individuals. Cubanrhythm
tailors its dancing lessons to your specific wishes. Whether you’re
new to salsa and wish to take private lessons, keen to learn the typically
feminine ‘ladystyling’, or can already dance but want
to improve your performance and learn new steps; whatever your wishes,
Cubanrhythm can cater for you.
Professional Cuban dancing teachers are happy to introduce you to
the world of Cuban dancing. Ariel Delas Cabrales is one of them.
He studied
at the ‘Escuale del Arte’ in Santiago de Cuba and Havana.
A member of the dance group ‘Mente Positiva’ for some years,
he has a great deal of experience in teaching salsa, rueda de casino,
rumba and chachachá.
Yacqueline Abiague is another member of the Cubanrhythm team. She
too studied in Santiago and Havana. Having specialised in ‘ladystyling’,
she is very experienced in teaching visitors to Cuba.
• Music workshops
If Cuban music is your passion and you’d like to learn an
instrument or improve your performance, Cubanrhythm has the
right tuition for
you. Lessons are given on an individual or group basis by acknowledged,
professional musicians who are members of Cuban bands and regularly
travel abroad for performances.
