Maike Ismael Rojas López
• Dancer
He studied at several dance schools in Santiago de Cuba. He took part at the world championships Salsa in San Marino (Italy) in 2004 where he obtained the third price in Rueda de Casino and the first price in Show Dance de Salsa Cubana. At this moment he teaches ‘rhythms’ at University.
     
    Luis Manuel Bravo Ramos
• Dancer
He took part in the famous Tropicana Show in the Santiago. He continued his dance career in the hotel Melia Cayo Guillermo. At this moment he is a dance teacher at the Sport Academy. In 2004 he participated in the world championships Salsa in San Marino, Italy, where he obtained the first price in the category Salsa Cubana.
     
    Yacqueline Abiague
• Dancer
She studied in Santiago and Havana. Having specialised in ‘ladystyling’, she is very experienced in teaching visitors to Cuba reagardless of previous experience.
     
    Luis Palacio Jaen
• Percuccionist
Luis is a percussionist with more than 40 years of experience in the music business. He trained at the Conservatorium Esteban Salas de Santiago de Cuba and is a member of the National Committee of Percussionists. Luis regularly plays with bands that perform abroard, such as Sons de Santiago.
     
    Manoló Semanat Bell
• Percuccionist
Manolito has been a successful percussionist for more than 30 years. Born in Santiago de Cuba, he has a lot of international experience. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching the following percussion instruments: conga, bongo and bata. Manolito specialises in traditional Cuban music, using it as a basis from which to develop new rhythms and variations. He performs regularly throughout Cuba and abroad with his group Guitarras y Trovadores.

Make your sunny summer holiday extra special! Fly to Cuba in July and experience carnival in Santiago de Cuba (which will take place from July 20 until July 27). Combined with dancing classes, visits to cultural sites and relaxing on the beach of course, your trip to Cuba will be unforgettable!

The 7-day dancing course costs € 396 per person.
The 14-day dancing course costs € 698 per person.

The price includes:

  • 7/14 nights in a casa particular (privately owned guest house), half board;
  • 15 hours of dancing tuition by a professional Cuban dance teacher;
  • a day trip to Bucanero (a beach hotel).

During the dance classes all participants will have their own Cuban dance partner! Lessons will take place from daily from 09.30 h to 12.30 h.
